About us
Clive and Ilse.

We are a British-Belgian couple who met 20 years ago. We started working together almost immediately and became a super team.
After running three successful restaurant-bars in England and then Belgium, we decided to take a break and run a catered chalet in the French Alps.
​
We came to Villaroger and fell in love with the place. In fact, so much so that when that season finished we returned home and put our house on the market.
Six years, six winter seasons experience and after running a chalet hosts cookery school up in La Rosière, we are still in Villaroger and ready for the next chapter.

We are both really passionate about food, skiing and service and so running our own catered chalet business is now the natural thing for us to do. That’s the snow truth!
